koechlin-selected-organ-works-vol-1-ed9781
Koechlin - Selected Organ Works Volume 1

Charles Louis Eugne Koechlin (1867-1950) studied with Massenet and Faur and founded the Socit Musicale Indpendante together with Ravel Schmitt Caplet and Hur. Poulenc and Sauguet were two of his students. Koechlin's organ composition is published in a two-volume edition for the first time. That this is a very important oeuvre becomes clear from the fact that the premires were performed by important organists: Olivier Messiaen played the Chorale op. 90 and Maurice Durufl the first Sonatina. An interesting edition for concerts competitions and liturgy.

Publisher

Schott Music

Composer

Charles Koechlin

Instrument

Organ

Pages

56

ISBN

9790001137393

Stock code

ED9781

In-store pickup available.
