This case includes a digital hygrometer powered by a button battery.  A screw has been fitted to the battery compartment to comply with Government regulations requiring a two-step locking device that secures button batteries keeping them safe from young children.

Always ensure to reinstall the retaining screw after changing batteries. Should your case not have this retaining screw already installed please return it to your retailer.

Swallowing batteries of this type may lead to serious injury in a very short period and possibly result in death due to chemical burns and/or potential perforation of the oesophagus.

Regularly examine the battery compartment and retaining screw to ensure continued safety.
