Compiled during his years of pastoral ministry, Dr. Roger Paynter closeseach of his worship services at First Baptist Church, Austin, Texas, wh ere Joseph Martin worships, with this wonderful blessing. Joseph Martin honored Dr. Paynter by setting this contemporary challenge as a lush anddramatic anthem. Suitable for organ or piano support, this short but am azingly powerful benediction is a special exclamation point at the end of any worship service. A Blessing to Service urges us to use all of our gifts and talents to work for God. “Now may God take your minds and think through them. May God take your lips and speak through them. May God take your hands and work through them. May God take your hearts and set them on fire. Amen!”
