Highly flexible for stacking, it adds clarity when placed before another drive pedal, or smooths and thickens your tone when placed after. PlexiTone Lo-Gain is built around a simple idea: sometimes the most useful drive sounds live below the obvious gain range. This pedal focuses on touch, response, and feel — the kind of overdrive that enhances what your amp already does rather than replacing it.

Like the rest of the modern PlexiTone line, Lo-Gain uses our DC-DC converter design. While powered from a standard regulated 9V supply, the circuit operates internally at ±12V. This provides additional headroom and allows us to use the same high-quality components found in our Pro Series pedals, preserving dynamics and clarity even at higher output levels.

The layout is intentionally straightforward: Level, Gain, and Tone. No switching layers, no extra modes — just direct control over output, drive amount, and high-frequency shaping in a compact, pedalboard-friendly format.
