Includes: Adam Lay Y-Bounden • I Sing of a Maiden • When Christ Was Born of Mary Free

Anyone who is familiar with Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols will recognize these Old English texts, but Crawford Thoburn's fresh, original approach stands out on its own. “A Christmas Triptych” is a cappella, with a wonderful mix ofmadrigal-like melodies and more modern harmonies. These works may be us ed as a set or as individual octavos.
