Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon is adapted from a traditional Chinese folk ensemble piece. The composition by Xinyu (Maggie) Francis-Ma is lighthearted and distinctive, portraying the relaxed and leisurely essence of ordinary life, and showcasing the quintessential style of Cantonese folk music. The melody, crafted using the traditional Chinese pentatonic scale, is simple, unadorned, fluid, and lyrically expressive. (3:00)
