Uses: Advent, Call to Worship

Scripture: Isaiah 40:3; Jeremiah 33:14-16; Matthew 3:3

An American folk tune is re-tooled with a charming 6/8 meter, and the results are a dance-like offering for Advent. The promise of the new day and the invitation to worship form the foundation for this cheerful song, making it a fresh moment for any gathering. Unison singing is found throughout in the verse, and the fuller harmonies of the chorus really shine!
