This piece is much more than just a study for playing F natural and solidifying finger patterns including the 4th finger (upper strings). "Desert Caravan" sets a definite mood and provides an engaging platform for beginning ensemble part playing. Included in the set is a thought provoking "Caravan Planning Worksheet." A fantastic classroom exercise for non-playing days.
