Like some cities we know, Five O'Clock Jam stays both energized and energizing the whole time you're there! The piece begins with honking horns of cars and trucks jam-packed together in the rush hour traffic. Then a fun ostinato pattern takes hold in the low strings while the upper strings carry catchy dissonant melodies. Every section takes turns with the melodic groove and there are optional solo sections for your advanced students to shine. Performers and audience alike will love this ode to vibrant city life!
