With the rhythm section laying down the groove, this soulful hit from the group Kool and the Gang oozes funky goodness! This chart stays true to the original, featuring tasty rhythm section parts mixed in with juicy horn licks. The solo section features space for a written alto sax solo or improvised solos from tenor sax, trumpet or trombone. The full band heats it up after the solos right on to the end! Optional parts for flute, clarinet and horn in F are included for expanded instrumentation. This is funky stuff!
