Generations is a meditative tribute to all the fathers and mothers who pass on intangible and priceless gifts to their children grandchildren great grandchildren... In this very original work the composer (from Ecuador!) creates a nostalgic almost mystical soundscape using pensive harmonies and non-chord tones including an effective pedal-point. Engage your students on this thoughtful musical experience that will elevate their musicality to higher planes than is the norm at this easier grade level.
