Written to celebrate the Navy Band's 50th anniversary, the musical ideas contain allusions to the Navy and the music making of the Navy Band. But composition works well as a concert piece in any setting. Each of the four movements covers a variety of styles including sea chanteys, wistful, light intermezzo, and a rumba full of syncopated rhythms. Movements: I. Sea Chantey, II. Song of the Bells, III. Country Dance, IV. Rumba Rumba.
