This fun-filled pizzicato novelty was written especially for grade 1+ string groups. A combination of stepwise and arpeggiated passages paint a convincing portrait of grasshoppers walking and hopping about. Careful observation of dynamic contrasts, especially in the closing bars, is essential for best results. Duration 2:05.
