Hit the Road! is full of entertaining music and lyrics for elementary-level pianists. Most young students will identify well with the lyrics descriptive of the common trials of a family vacation via auto. The variety of music is impressive and perfectly matched to the level and is an excellent supplement to any method series. This book is ideal for students who are breaking out of five-finger positions, exploring new hand positions (including minor five-finger patterns), beginning to change hand positions within pieces, and gaining more hand independence.
