Heart-wrenching honesty characterizes this testimony of trust. Vulnerable and authentic, the song ministers to the wounded spirit in a tender way. The use of soloists adds a theater component and eloquently delivers the diary of the song's pilgrims as they search for meaning in the journey of faith. The choir underscores the solos before being entrusted with the promise of “Surely You have borne our griefs and carried ev'ry sorrow... surely You are holding me.” Unforgettable!
