This rhythmic, upbeat anthem is a change of pace for Advent or Christ the King Sunday, quoting the passage from Isaiah 12 as the basis for the text. With joy and assurance we sing of His promised salvation. Much unison and two-part singing, and the repetitious nature of this piece, make it easy to learn and remember. Changes in voicing and dynamic add interest and propel it forward to the victorious climax. “In That Day”...we proclaim that the Lord has done glorious things!
