This piece is based on Chopin Nocturne in C# Minor. It was written as part of a suite called Silver Poetry in honour of the flute of the same name made specifically for a friend in Germany a flautist Christiane Meininger. This Suite formed a part of my Fellowship of the Australia Council and it consists of 12 pieces.
