Your beginning band is going to love the excitement and adventure that comes from this piece. This is a nice introduction to the concert d minor scale without worrying about accidents. The range is very approachable for this grade level, with the trumpet's highest note being C and the clarinets not crossing the break. This allows for you to work on articulation and dynamics which will take this composition from nice to WOW!
