Set out on a daring voyage, facing the stormy seas with fearless courage. This dark adventure allows developing players to practice alternating detache and staccato bow strokes as the melody is passed from section to section. Hear the rising winds in the low strings section, where cello and bass are doubled for ominous strength. Feel the uneven rise and fall of waves in melodic lines that use only simple quarter, half, and eighth note rhythms. An exciting escapade that sounds much harder than it is.
