A treasured hymn text is given new breath in this sturdy anthem of faith. There is an ancient quality to the tune, and its fascinating metrical syntax adds to the appeal. Like a noble Celtic hymn, the theme reveals itself adorned with regal harmonies and well-designed part-writing. Easy to program for many seasons because of its power-packed message of hope, this sacred octavo is an especially good choice for church anniversaries.
