Located near East Sussex, England, Bayham Old Abbey was founded in 1207 and functioned as an abbey until the 16th century. Bobrowitzs remarkable musical painting of this ancient abbey uses traditional counterpoint in a modern harmonic environment to create a truly unique musical statement. Melodic material for all instruments and a powerful ending make this refreshingly different work perfect for concert or festival use.
