German composer Peter Von Winter dates from the latter half of the eighteenth century and his music demonstrates the influence of both Bach and Handel. This mature work on a Marian or Easter text is most suitable for advanced choirs capable of executing the extensive use of roulade. Try it with capable high school, college/university or church choirs.
