Long-time educator and performer in the low brass, Rodrguez has assembled 30 studies to help advancing tubists with their basics. These are especially helpful in wind flow and musicality, and a great way to become ever more familiar with ledger lines well below the staff. Practice in musicality is especially important for an instrument most commonly used as background, for, as Rob Roy McGregor points out, "It is a thrill when things go well. Why else would we do this?"
