“Incredibly beautiful”, “Enchanting”, “Makes me weep”, “Close to perfection”. .just some of the reactions to this expressive piece by Norwegian composer Ole Gjeilo. The music, inspired by Jake Rajs' breathtaking photo of Mount McKinley is beautifully paired with a classic Sancta Maria Latin text to evoke the mystical and regal prescence of Alaska. A stunning addition to the repertoire of more advanced choirs! 6:00 mins. Listen to an excerpt here. http://www.edition-peters.com/resources/0001/stock/mp3/Second_Eve_Sample.mp3
