The intro is slow and bluesy like vocalist Billie Holiday, then morphs into a waltz groove at 112 BPM, a nice easy tempo. The written-out piano solo is 32 bars, the lead trumpet range is only to written F, top line. Easy to rehearse and perform, ideal for the holiday concert.
