A supernova is a stellar explosion far more energetic than a nova. In this hyper-energetic new string work, the first five measures of tremolo build up to the "explosion," followed by an upbeat rhythmic groove that propels the piece forward to a hauntingly beautiful quiet section before a furious drive at the end. Supernova could easily be the hit of your musical season while taking your orchestra to new musical heights!
