A 13th floor often doesn't exist in ships, hotels, and skyscrapers due to superstition - but you might find the unlucky level in haunted houses! This spooky piece for developing string orchestra explores the shadows of this phantom floor, if the elevator mysteriously took you there. Listen for whispers of the ghostly Dies Irae motif as players get to practice hooked bowing and easy slurs in E minor.
