The music of Brazilian composer/pianist Eliane Elias is featured on the acclaimed CD “Impulsive!” by the Danish Radio Jazz Orchestra. Legendary arranger Bob Brookmeyer has crafted a magnificent multi-style show piece using Eliane's sophisticated composition. First we hear an intense Latin groove with blistering ensemble lines. This is followed bya medium swing section with space for soloists before returning to the opening feel. Includes solo opportunities for drums and bass as well.
