Take a journey on the waves and winds that carry merchant ships to exotic far-off places. This picturesque piece evokes images of peaceful grandeur as ships slowly leave port at the break of day. A flowing melody in first position features legato slurs and some easy accidentals, offering developing ensembles the opportunity to work on bow control in first position.
