12 waltzes, 10 German dances and 8 landler by Franz Schubert are contained in this popular and, for decades, long-established collection. Schott now presents a completely reset and revised version which even meets the latest engraving and legibility standards. The consistently short pieces are ideal for lessons and auditions, providing an insight into the upbringing of Viennese dance music, the nucleus from which Vienna later turned into the metropolis of the waltz.
