The Advent season wouldn't be complete without a spiritual by Don Besig and Nancy Price. This a cappella anthem for SATB choir and soloists willdraw your congregation in closer with the intimacy of unaccompanied sin ging. The minor color of this attractive octavo adds a touch of mystery to the preparations for Christ's arrival. Effective word painting with well-placed silences gives the thoughtful choir director ample opportunities for drama through interpretation. The impeccable part-writing makes “Waiting for the Light!” a sure success for your ensemble. Beautifully done.
